the waterclock is at silver dollar city in branson, mo. it's named after the fellow who built it...Harvey Water Clock. he built it when i was working there, so it's not an old original. in fact, it runs off hidden electric motors.
it was always a hoot to listen to the "know it all guys" explain to their wife how the gears made it work via perpetual motion.

Thanks so much for visiting the site, and for your kind words. I'm in the laborious process of rebuilding the entire site at the moment, and hope to have it uploaded sometime tomorrow, that's why there's a delay in your estimate. The site has gotten so darn HUGE - it's taken on a life of it's own over the years!! LOL!

Looks like we'll be up there again Saturday. I doubt we'll do Italian this time but there is a cool looking cafe' across the street from Gino's that I've been wanting to try. Would y'all be interested in meeting up there?

We'll be up for it if John doesn't have to work on Saturday - they're trying to finish up another vehicle by the weekend.

If so, I assume the cafe you're talking about should be easy enough to find if it's right across the street! :)

I'm sorry, we'll have to take a rain check. We've got a local biker picnic this Saturday afternoon, and John will be doing yard work Sunday. He is finally catching up with his "to do" list around the house since he worked a gazillion hours of overtime the last two weeks (he even did 2 overnighters at the shop, only snoozing for an hour in the truck). It sucks to be the boss, as OT doesn't get added to his salary, or we'd be RICH! LOL
Please keep it in mind, though, we will be able to head out one of these days! Have fun and stay safe out there!
